  4. How do we use the personal information that we collect when you register for HopefulCircle.org?

    • We may use the state and ZIP code in your postal address to compile demographic analytics, e.g., how many members live in which state and which ZIP code, how many males have a certain disease, how many people were diagnosed with a certain disease a certain number of years ago. No such demographic information or any report that includes it would include any information from which you could be individually identified.
    • If you provide your e-mail address, we may send you newsletters about available education programs and about developments and opportunities in the area of rare diseases.
    • If we sell, assign, or otherwise transfer the business of this Web site, we will transfer your personal information to the buyer and use reasonable commercial efforts to require the buyer to agree to treat it in accordance with this privacy policy.
