Gene Therapy Trials by Professor Robin Ali on German ZDF TV

There has been much excitement over the announcements of results of the Gene Therapy trials conducted by Dr Robin Ali (fast becoming a hero in my world!). The trial is for a treatment for LCA, Leber's Congenital Amaurosis, a rare form of a Retinal Disease / Retinitis Pigmentosa and has produced some amazing results. This is the German version of the news shown on ZDF TV in Germany (Jonathan features for a few seconds :-). The early results of this trial shows there is hope for the future.
